NASA's Global Climate Change program recently wrote a great article about the Night Rover Challenge. It leads off with the statement, "There's Never a Cloudy Day on the Moon." This is a great statement about how powerful solar energy can be in space. But what happens when the sun goes down? That's where the Night Rover steps in! The focus should be on a self sustainable energy and not the storage of solar. You can derive energy from the torsion of the moon its self. Granted its much smaller then the earth so electromagnetism would have some challenges but ultimately that would be the solution to the dependability of solar. I wish there was a way I could be a part of this great challenge. Good luck to everyone!
Thank you,
